& my anagama is fired up around 1250c° towards the end.

    Each firing requires very slow continuous heating up and cooling down and a whole firing process may take over 2 weeks from packing to opening the kiln.  'Anagama' pots after this manner are sturdy enough to be left outdoors in frosty winter.
